ADVICE AND CONSULTATION

Our Heritage Interior Architecture & Design Consultants can provide you with expert knowledge on how to reflect the historical character of your property through its interior design. We believe that historically informed designs encapsulate the playful side of heritage, allowing you to discover the period styles of your building whilst adapting it to the requirements of modern day living.

  • STAGE 1

RESEARCH AND ASSESSMENT

In order to develop ideas for how to maximise the historical authenticity of your interior spaces, our Heritage Interior Architecture and Design Consultant will first establish the heritage context of your property. This will be achieved by conducting an initial survey followed by archival and desk-based research. Most historic buildings have rich and complex pasts which are reflected in the development of their architectural features. Because of this, your property may have a range of historical styles that will be suitable for our heritage-led interior designs.

  • STAGE 2

VISION CONSULTATION

Once we have established what is important to you, your design needs and the heritage context of your property, we can present to you our initial ideas. This will take the form of a second consultation meeting where we can discuss the inspiration behind our vision for your interior design.

  • STAGE 3

CONCEPTS

Following the Vision Consultation, our Heritage Interior Architecture and Design Consultant can start to develop concept designs for your interior spaces. Dependent on your needs or the scale of your renovation works, we can provide advice on individual elements - such as period-appropriate colour schemes - or for the reconfiguration of the entire space.
